WESTFIELDS made it 15 wins from 18 league matches despite having to overcome several hurdles during a 3-2 win against Royal Wootton Bassett Town.
Phil Glover’s side got off to a perfect start when Ben Miller curled home the opening goal.
However, their fourth from bottom visitors struck on the break and Mark Francis levelled the game with a nice finish.
Cameron Peters fired Fields back ahead before the break after a powerful header by Kane Kahaki was cleared off the line.
However, Glover’s side were dealt a blow when goalkeeper Joe Gorman was injured and Kahaki had to take his place in the Westfields net.
Despite this Aidan Thomas sealed the tie with a driven shot from the edge of the box for a third goal.
The visitors pulled a goal back late on and Kahaki was forced to punch clear under pressure in the dying moments.
