HEREFORD FC have loaned 21-year-old goalkeeper William Henry off Swindon Town.

Henry who was part of the Bristol City and then Swindon academy systems has been on loan at several clubs including Gloucester City, Chippenham Town and Swindon Supermarine.

Henry is on a 'short term' loan to cover for an ill Brandon Powell.

Hereford manager Russell Slade told the club's website: “Will offers us some additional cover in the goalkeeping department and also a little bit of experience of playing men’s football having already enjoyed loan spells in and around this level.

“He’s highly rated at Swindon and has experience of playing for England at youth level. I am sure he is more than capable of doing a good job for us during his loan spell.”
