ROBIN Henderson-Pugh showed his form once again at Ross Golf Club to take victory in the Xmas Singles 16 holes stableford competition.
The final event in the annual programme for the men's over-55 seniors section witnessed a 78 full start-sheet with reasonable winter golfing conditions helped by excellent greens.
Henderson-Pugh was able to reproduce the form that saw him win the club's Huggett Putter competition earlier this year and his 38 points score enabled him to have the pick of the 40 Christmas Fayre prizes up for grabs.
Phil Thompson showed his current form with an equally impressive 38 points score, coming days after winning a major prize in the club's men's Christmas event.
Also winning festive rewards for Chris Good and Peter Cliffe on 37 points each, Tim Lewis 36 points, and Wref Digings, Allen Bartlett, and Doug Duncanson with 35 points each and prizes for all performers able to muster 30 points or more.
The event also witnessed the Senior's Captain Drive-in and a highly commendable 223 yards drive undertaken in the indoor hitting range 'Performance Lab' facilities with £253 raised for charity.
This meant that shared winners being Charlie Walker and veteran Robert Brain both earned six Titleist PRO V1 golf balls generously donated by the Club's Head Professional Tim Hall and his 'School of Golf' team.
