    ROLLING MATCH REPORT
  • Luctonians had looked to have squandered their early pressure when Owen Harriott-Davies was dispossessed.
  • However, a Huddersfield forward pass allowed John Morris to kick a penalty from 30 metres out.
  • As the game settled down and small errors broke up play it took until the 31st minute for the opening try.
  • Following several phases of play the ball was played along the line for Drew Cheshire to fly over the whitewash.
  • The visitors almost replied immediately with winger Kian Stewart going on a mazey run.
  • He was eventually tackled, but the ball came back wide for him in space only for Stewart to miss-control and the chance was gone.
  • Huddersfield did reply with the last kick of the game with Will Milner kicking a penalty to bring them back to 8-3 at the break.
  • The visitors showed they were up for the battle when kicking a penalty to touch and then driving over their opening try to take a 10-8 lead.
