KINGTON Ladies Hockey Club remain undefeated at the top of the South Wales Division One following a 2-2 draw away against Rhondda on Saturday.
Kington started strongly with a goal from captain Rachel Venables as a reward for their efforts.
However, Rhondda fought back with an equaliser leaving the pressure on Kington.
Kington replied and took advantage of a short corner to once again take the lead with a goal courtesy of Sinny Price.
The second half was an end-to-end battle with opportunities for both teams.
Kington goalkeeper Abby Reynolds prevented the hosts from equalising until a short corner in the last 10 minutes saw Rhondda score the final goal of the game to snatch a draw.
The man of the match was awarded to midfielder Leanne Player.
