SUPER substitute Jamie Davies scored a brace for Leominster Town as they picked up a first victory of the season in the Herefordshire County League Division One.

Sam Davies and Matt Strangwood also netted for Town in their 4-2 win over Ledbury Town Reserves.

Meanwhile Ross Juniors continued their early season form by making it two wins from three with a 4-1 victory over Ludlow Town Colts.

Mike Donaldson scored two while Florin Crainic and Bradley Wooding also netted in the convincing victory.

Both sides will have to overcome the challenges of leaders Tenbury United and Tenbury Town, who made it two wins from two with a 8-2 win at home to Hinton Reserves.

Clee Hill United landed a blow on an early challenger as they won 6-2 at Hereford Pegasus Reserves.

Joshua Carpenter and Ryan Clarke both score hat-tricks as the title holders sent Peggy to their first defeat of the season.

Holme Lacy sit just two points behind Clee at the top following a 2-2 draw with Westfields Reserves.

Jean Luc Alverez and Stuart Mills added another goal each to their Lacy tallies while Taylor Barnfield and Louie Simon score in reply for Fields.

After recording just five league wins last season Kington Town have now won three of their first four matches this term.

Charlie Beaumont scored the games only goal as they beat Shobdon 1-0, despite going down to nine men.

Elsewhere Kingstone Rovers picked up their first win of the season after coming out on top in a 3-2 thriller against Ledbury Town.

Jason Griffin scored two and Marc Avery the other as Rovers climbed up the league with the away win.

After scoring a host of goals in the Sunday League last season, Kiko Azzam is now firing on all cylinders for Civil Service Reserves.

He scored nine times in their 26-0 win at Marden in Division Two last weekend.

Craig Forsyth and Shaun Preece both scored four while Chris Gaywood and Billy O'Sullivan each netted a hat-trick.
