- Fields started well and Craig Jones sent an early shot over after a corner fell kindly for him.
- At the other end Brimscombe almost replied immediately when a header took a wicked deflection off Kane Khaki wide.
- The hosts replied in style with two quick goals. Firstly Keanu Cooper's shot was saved before falling to Paul Hurrell to fire home a ninth minute opener.
- Two minutes later Aidan Thomas netted after seeing his initial effort rattle off the post.
- Khaki made it three after 28 minutes getting the right side of the goalkeeper to head a Craig Jones corner into an empty net.
- Brimscombe looked to reply and Jack Smith forced Harvey Rivers into a smart save before heading wide when unmarked in front of goal.
- Jonty Welch was next to test Fields and his cross come shot rattled the bar.
- However, the tie was settled moments before the break when a goalkeeping error handed Cooper his second of the evening.
- Once again the visitors kept testing and Ed Major squared to James Cambell, but his effort was saved by Rivers at close range.
- However, Fields kept their pressure on the Brimscombe goalkeeper and Khaki out-jumped him from a corner to head home.
- At the opposite end Smith was given a chance for a consolation goal, but steered his effort wide.
- At the other end substitute Cameron Peters almost made it seven, but fired his effort wide.
- Rivers kept Fields' clean sheet with a fine save as Ed Major fired across goal.
- With full-time approaching Thomas made it six with a low driven shot into the bottom corner.
- Rivers was forced into action again before full-time denying Smith with his foot.
