A STUD owner and popular figure on the horse racing scene has died, aged 80.
Robin Knipe, along with his wife Scarlett, bred a host of headline National Hunt talents at Cobhall Court Stud in Allensmore.
British National Hunt Horse of the Year in 2016, Thistlecrack was bred by the Knipe's along with Welsh National and Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Master Oats.
Robin is beloved husband of Scarlett, father to Tracy and Fred and a grandfather.
His funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Church, Allensmore, on Tuesday, September 17, at 12pm.
