SRI LANKAN bowler Lahiru Samarakoon put in a devastating display against Brockhampton as were beaten for the 11th time this season.

The Parks side need to win their last four games to have any chance of Birmingham & District Premier League survival and could be relegated at Bromsgrove on Saturday.

Their latest defeat came at league leaders Oswestry as Samarakoon took 5-6 and Roman Walker 2-5 with Brockhampton skittled out for 66 off 26.4 overs, Oliver Rogoff top scoring on 19.

With the bat Oswestry put on an opening wicket stand of 54 helped by Warrick Fynn, 36 from 30 balls, as they reached their target after just 11.4 overs.

Meanwhile, Brockhampton seconds also have a fight on their hands to stay in the Worcestershire County League Division One.

Their seventh defeat of the season on Saturday against Astwood Bank seconds leaves them 26 points from safety.

After being put into bat and losing both openers cheaply the seconds put up a spirited fight with

Robert Protheroe (43) and Max Foster (66) putting them back into the driving seat.

However, bowler Harvey Chawner played havoc with the middle and bottom order taking 5-36 and leaving Brockhampton all out for 150.

In reply Ben Skailes took three early wickets for the hosts despite opener Andy Williams adding some resistance with 34.

Alex Lovell also took 3-38 as Brockhampton looked in a good position only for the Astwood Bank's lower order to see their side over the line.
