HEREFORD captain Josh Gowling said he expects an apology from a fan who said he was laughing following the Bulls’ 3-1 defeat at King’s Lynn Town on Saturday.
Gowling said that the fan had posted a screen shot of him from the post-match video and said he was laughing following the defeat.
“After the game on Saturday you asked me how did it feel and I kind of laughed to say it was terrible,” said Gowling following Hereford's 1-0 win over AFC Telford United.
“I’ve seen on social media that someone has put a screen shot of me laughing and put that this was the captain’s reaction.
“That is pretty much a shambles to be honest. What moron has done that I don’t know but if you know me as a person football means a lot to me, this club means a lot to me and working for the lads means a lot.
“I have been a professional since I was 16 years of age and to do that is absolutely outrageous. I expect an apology.
“At the end of the day I, myself went away from that game disappointed as I let the club down, the team down and obviously the manager has gone.
“I had a point to prove today and I feel that I’ve done that.”
