YOUNG Bulls defender Rhys Davies has joined Merthyr Town on an initial 28-day loan.

The 18-year-old, who signed for Hereford in the summer, has not featured in the opening two league matches for the Bulls.

He will join the Southern League Premier South side in time to be considered for their match against Harrow Borough today.

Meanwhile Connor Davies-Austin, who initially went to Mangotsfield United, has now signed on a dual-registration deal with Hereford Pegasus.

Liam Bishop has remained at Mangotsfield on a dual-registration deal while Kyle Finn has been loaned out to Stourbridge on an initial one-month loan.

Speaking about the four loan deals, Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards told the club’s website: “These four deals will give each player a great chance to go out and get some minutes under their belts in senior football.

“We see these deals as an excellent way to ensure that they are getting the competitive minutes in senior football that they need to continue to progress.”
