HEREFORD FC have signed goalkeeper James Carey on a permanent deal.
The 19-year-old former Bristol City youngster was on loan at Frome Town last season.
Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards said:“James Carey has signed for us, he is ex-Bristol City and has got a good pedigree behind him and was with us today warming Brandon (Hill) up but he wasn’t selected in the five (substitutes).
“He is available for selection throughout the season.”
Meanwhile Jahquil Hill has looked to find football elsewhere.
Richards added: “It was difficult for Jahquil (Hill) as he doesn’t drive and was struggling with an ankle injury. He wanted to play and we couldn’t guarantee he would play so has gone to find first team football elsewhere.”
