GOALKEEPER Harry Burgoyne could be included in the Wolves under-23 side to play at Edgar Street for Ryan Green’s testimonial fixture against Hereford (7.45pm).

The 22-year-old, from Ludlow, could travel to Hereford with a squad that is expected to consist of under-23 and under-18 players, while senior players Jordan Graham and Connor Johnson could also feature.

Wolves are set to split their young squads between Hereford and Kidderminster Harriers tonight and will be led by under-23 head coach Rob Edwards at Edgar Street.

The Bulls are set to name a strong team as they continue their pre-season preparations.

Mike Symons played for an hour against Ludlow and could again feature.

Simone Maye could return from a ‘knock’ which saw him miss Saturday’s friendly win. While Josh Gowling came off against Ludlow as ‘precautionary’ and could also play.

Following Saturday’s 5-0 win at Ludlow, Bulls’ assistant coach Will Morford said: “We won’t be training before the match so we’ve given the boys a recovery session and give them their programmes, so they should take care of themselves and hopefully be ready for Wolves.

“We are going to try and get the minutes into the boys and use it as a pre-season game. It is our build-up and we’re not far away from the start of the season now so we still want to get our ideas across and implement what we want to do to get out of the game.

“There is competition for places and that’s what we wanted at the start of the season. We wanted to make sure there was enough players for each position so that they are on their toes and we’re getting the best out of them.

“There is competition for places, we’re looking good and hopefully we get a good result on Wednesday.”
