A TRIALIST impressed during his third pre-season friendly for Hereford FC.
The right-back, believed to be former Macclesfield Town defender Jared Hodgkiss, played the full 90 minutes against Yeovil Town at Cinderford last night.
He also featured in friendly matches against Cinderford and Wellington.
“He’s not bad so we will just see what happens with that one,” said Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards.
“He has played 90 minutes today so fingers crossed.”
Meanwhile the other three trialists who featured against Cinderford were not featured against Yeovil.
Youngster Liam Bishop also remains with the squad on their pre-season tour.
Richards added: “I love his tenacity I think he just doesn’t stop working and shows good quality at times.
“We will just see. We have brought him away with us for the weekend so that shows him our feelings on him so early on.
“He hasn’t been with us since the start, he only joined us on the second or third session. He has shown real hunger and desire and shown some really good qualities.
“He’s still a trialist a such.”
