HEREFORD FC coaches Scott Russell and Dan Chance have been appointed to the management at Monmouth Town.

Russell was Hereford first team’s goalkeeper coach for most of last season while Chance coached the Hereford Academy under-18 age group.

They will form a management trio at the Welsh Football League Division One side.

Writing on Twitter, Russell thanked everybody at Hereford FC for the past season.

He added: “Looking forward to being a Kingfisher and to develop not only the first team but the club from youth level upwards.

“Great community club. We had other offers but this was the club that we believe has the most promise going forwards. Exciting times ahead. Now the work starts.”
