KELLY Marshall was awarded female competitor of the tournament as Herefordshire fighters came away with a host of medals from the European Tae Kwon Do Championships in Croatia.

Marshall, winning three golds in patterns, point sparring and continuous, adding to her World, British and multiple other titles.

Ben Hargreaves started the day off with gold in patterns, before winning a bronze in team patterns and finishing off with guts, determination and heart to win a silver in the international team event.

Kelly was also awarded female competitor of the tournament, which is a fantastic achievement considering the fantastic talent on display.

Meanwhile Oskar Domanski, won three golds in the power tests and silver in patterns and sparring.

Finishing off the event was Tomos Sheppard who won European Championship gold in points and continuous.

Members of the Hall family Taekwondo instructor team recently competed in the ITC Northern Open Championships in Oldham.

Fighting against world class competitors from all over the country. The effort and achievement on the day from all involved was huge. With only three fighters the team achieved eight medals.

Assistant instructor Jordan Haggett competed in both points and continuous sparring categories earning himself a bronze medal in each.

Sarah Hall earned a gold medal in the points sparring category, and a silver in both continuous sparring and patterns, while husband Luke Hall entered patterns, points sparing and continuous sparring for his weight categories and stormed through the rounds to take triple gold.
