WORMELOW bounced back in the GB Liners Marches League Division One but were pushed all the way by Brockhampton thirds, eventually winning by one wicket.

An unbeaten 62 from James Snow helped the league’s new boys to a second win from three games as they chased down a target of 154.

Brockhampton elected to bat and despite opener Matt Davies reaching a half-century wickets continued to fall around him with Matt Deem taking figures of 4-36.

In response opener Deem hit 22 before wickets started falling only for Snow to help his side over the winning line.
