FORMER Hereford FC manager Pete Beadle will return to Edgar Street on Sunday to watch Rob Purdie’s testimonial match.
A Hereford FC XI side comprising of the players signed during Beadle’s time as manager will take on a Hereford United XI side with a 1.30pm kick-off.
Former Hereford FC players set to play in the match include: Martin Horsell, Jimmy Oates, Jamie Willets, Joel Edwards, Jamie Cuss, Jamie Molyneux, Pablo Haysham and John Mills.
They will face a side of Hereford United legends including Purdie himself.
Beadle has this morning confirmed he will attend the match.
Looking forward to seeing some familier faces tomorrow at Rob Purdie's thoroughly deserved testimonial. Be great to catch up with players, volunteers and supporters. Get there early.... #chancetothankyouproperly

“He will sit in the stands and will come into the dressing room to see the boys, so it will be great to see him," said Purdie.
“My last three years as a player ended on a high thanks to him. Not one of the players in the Hereford FC XI side signed after he left and most are from the Midland Football League squad.
“We have managed to get a good squad together and I’m really looking forward to sitting down with my football mates.
“It will be the last time I see 95 per cent of them so I can’t wait.”
Fans can pay on the day of the game with the ticket office open from 11.30am and a gate open for those arriving late.
