JUNIOR golfers from across Herefordshire received guidance from four Player Pathway professional coaches at a recent Junior Open Day.
The event was organised to find new players to join the County Player Pathway coaching scheme for boys and girls which has been successfully running for many years.
The scheme is funded jointly by England Golf and parent's contributions.
The Open Day consisted of activities on the range, putting green and chipping area before the youngsters played a Texas scramble on the course in the afternoon.
Head coach Jason Davies, county boy's organiser Charles Sievewright and Shropshire girl's organiser Viv Davies along with Andy Cameron of Burghill Valley Golf Club helped to organise the event.
Player Pathway gives eight group lessons throughout the year at the venues of Burghill Valley with professional Andy Cameron and at two Shropshire courses.
For the younger Peewee players three fun days are organised and two elite squads are run for the boys and girls.
