  • Sam Rawlings had the first shot of the game for Fields after cutting inside, but Brandon Powell was equal to the effort.
  • On his return to Edgar Street with Westfields John Mills surged at the Peggy defence before seeing Powell save his effort.
  • Mills was again in the action moments later but saw his effort deflected onto the post before Aidan Jones' shot was brilliantly headed away by Elliot Payne from under his own bar.
  • Fields eventually took a 17th minute lead after Keanu Cooper found Thomas unmarked for him to slide home the opener.
  • Full of confidence Thomas doubled his side's lead five minutes later volleying home from outside the box.
  • Thomas almost had his hat-trick within the opening 40 minutes but was denied by the post when the goalkeeper was beaten.
  • After a slow opening to the second half Fields netted two goals within three minutes.
  • Mills was first to strike after working his way into the box and firing home in front of the Meadow End after 53 minutes.
  • Moments later Ollie Butler was unmarked inside the box and headed home a fourth.
  • Substitute Matt Reeve was next to try his luck at goal for Fields but was denied by the post from inside the box.
  • After 71 minutes it was 5-0 when Mills found Alex Hainault who headed down for skipper Craig Jones to net.
  • Hainault who had threatened moments earlier made it six with four minutes remaining after playing a one-two with Aidan Thomas before running through and beating the goalkeeper.
  • With two minutes left on the clock Peggy forced Ian Havard into action as the goalkeeper stopped George Andrews' effort.

  • On route to the final Westfields beating Hereford FC 3-1, Wellington 5-3 and Kingstone Rovers 11-0.
  • Meanwhile Pegasus got to the final after beating Holme Lacy 1-0, Clee Hill 2-1 and Bartestree 3-2 after scoring a last minute winner.
