LUCTONIANS booked their place in the National League 2 next season with a 31-17 play-off victory over Blaydon.
In front of a packed Mortimer Park the hosts took the lead early on when Josh Watkins surged through a gap in the middle to cross whitewash under the posts which was converted.
Watkins was on target again with a second try out wide before Drew Cheshire ran over a third try converted by Louis Silver to give them a 19-3 lead at half-time.
Luctonians continued the second half in similar in similar fashion with Guy Kirkby touching down amid a number of players before John Morris streaked through for a fifth try to give them a 31-3 lead.
Despite two late tries by the visitors it was Luctonians who celebrated promotion.
