- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- A Tom Owen-Evans goal on his return to the side secured Hereford a 1-1 draw with Altrincham
- Preparing for their play-off games Altrincham started brightly and Jordan Hulme beat the off-side trap after 10 minutes before rounding Matt Yates only to be denied by a goal-line Jordan Cullinane-Liburd clearance.
- Hereford were let off again five minutes later when striker Yousifu Ceesay went down on the byline claiming for a penalty but referee Andy Sykes waved away the appeal.
- Yousifu Ceesay was also causing Hereford problems on the left and his deflected shot fell nicely for the Bulls to clear.
- As Alty increased the pressure Chadwick saw his looping shot picked out of the top corner by Matt Yates.
- After being introduced at half-time Kyle Finn almost had an immediate impact for the visitors but saw his curling shot just tipped wide.
- However, Alty took the lead nine minutes into the second half after Hereford failed to close down Jordan Hulme when running through on goal before the striker found the bottom corner.
- Hulme was almost through again moments later but was denied by a last ditch Eliot Richards tackle.
- Moments later Ceesay crossed onto the head of Jake Moult, but he headed wide.
- Against the run of play Hereford were level on 65 minutes when a quick break resulted in Tom Owen-Evans ran forward before picking his spot from the edge of the box.
- Looking for a victory and an improved play-off position the hosts looked for a winning goal.
- Shaun Densmore came within inches of finding the net after a quick passing move resulted in him heading wide off the post.
