WORLD age group duathlon champion Alex Doherty took the top spot at the annual Hereford Duathlon.
The race, held at Whitecross School, was a sell out once again with 200 competitors racing over two distances.
Doherty, racing for Goode2Tri, finished the standard race in one hour, 25 minutes and 58 seconds.
Leominster athlete Mark Lamonby from Hereford Triathlon Club took second place in 1:29:35 with Jack Wilson in third in 1:30:57
Samantha Boswell was the first woman across the line in 1:44:12 and 19th position overall while 15-year-old Tia Froom from Hereford Triathlon Club was third woman in 1:50:11.
In the sprint distance race, Jonathan Read from Velo Karbona had a convincing win in 1:17:26.
Sarah Davies from Malvern Triathlon Club was the first woman in 1:41:08 with Hereford Triathlon Club's Louise Griffiths in second in 1:43:12 and her team-mate Megan Lane in third in 1:43:27.
Hereford Triathlon Club's Nicola Goodwin was the first veteran in 1:44:08 with the club's Sally Field crossing as the first super veteran in 1:48:46
