COLWALL got their cricket season under way in satisfying style as they cruised to a comfortable five-wicket victory at Droitwich on Saturday.
Put in to bat in a 40-over contest, the hosts were kept firmly in check by the Colwall attack as they were restricted to 149-7 and with Nick Brown in commanding form with a solid half-century, Colwall eased home with five wickets and 15 overs in hand.
League action gets underway in the Birmingham and Worcestershire County League this weekend.
