- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- Hereford drew 1-1 with Alfreton Town after Tom Owen-Evans saw his second half penalty canceled out.
- Despite the hosts having most of the early possession it was Hereford who had the first chance as Danny Greenslade saw his low free-kick deflect off the wall just out of James Waite's reach.
- Alfreton responded and after a spell of pressure Danny Bacon went close with a shot on the turn.
- With Matt Yates beaten the ball skipped just wide of his post.
- After his brace on Saturday, Rowan Liburd was looking dangerous but his header from a Danny Greenslade cross lacked the required power to beat the goalkeeper.
- Alfreton were causing problems inside the box but Peniket struggled to get any power on his header.
- An action-less second half burst into life after an hour after Mike Symons was brought down inside the box by Martin Riley sparking a small pushing match.
- Tom Owen-Evans made no mistake from the penalty spot sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
- Alfreton were level just eight minutes later when Matt Yates could only deny Danny Clarke's initial effort before Richard Peniket tapped home the rebound.
- The Bulls should have regained their lead on the 70th minute as Rowan Liburd beat the goalkeeper onto a long ball before pulling back to Mike Symons who turned before firing wide with the goal at his mercy.
- The Bulls went even closer with 10 minutes left as Jak Hickman ran clear out wide before crossing to Tom Owen-Evans whose effort was saved before James Waite's effort rolled across the face of goal wide.
