ADULTS will be charged £20 extra next season for a season ticket at Hereford FC while concessions will pay less.

Prices for an ‘early bird’ season tickets in the Meadow End and Len Weston terrace for adults has risen to £230 while those seated in the Merton Stand and Len Weston will pay £261.50 for a season ticket bought before July 1.

Last season adults paid £210 for an ‘early bird’ season ticket in the terrace areas of the stadium and £241.50.

Concession ‘early bird’ season ticket prices have reduced £20 across the same areas priced at £169 for a terrace place and £200.50 for seating.

Prices for a one-off adult ticket has risen by £1 to £14 in the terraces and £16 in seated areas.

Hereford FC General Manager, James Watts, told the club’s website: “We are pleased with the structure we have come up with for 2019/20 as we feel it is fair to everyone and offers the opportunity for fans to make significant savings through the Early Bird offers, the popular family tickets and the couple’s tickets in the Executive Club.

“While we understand that buying a season ticket is a significant investment for any fan, we would encourage people to buy tickets as soon as they possibly can because not only does this secure the best reduction in price, it also allows the club to plan our budgets more accurately looking ahead.

“The board has increased the investment in the playing squad year on year and next season is going to be no different. Hopefully the recent signing of Rowan Liburd demonstrates to fans that everyone here wants to be competing at the top end of the table and therefore, the more season tickets we sell, the more money there is available for recruitment during the summer.

“We are particularly pleased that once again we can keep the prices for under-16s to less than £2 per game whether buying a season ticket, or paying on the day. We all know that continuing to attract as many young supporters as possible is absolutely vital if the club is to continue to make the progress we all want it to.”

A Hereford FC statement said: "Club officials have spent a great deal of time discussing the pricing structure – which has included conversations with the Hereford United Supporters’ Trust (HUST) – and feel they have come up with a plan that offers great value for fans, and also one that will allow for increased investment in the playing squad should season ticket sales again be brisk.

"Significant savings are available for any supporters who are able to take advantage of the club’s Early Bird discount – by buying their season tickets by 1st July – and once again prices for Under 16s have been kept as low as possible so the younger generation of supporters can continue to enjoy their football at Edgar Street.

"For the 2019/20 campaign, the club are particularly pleased to have been able to reduce the price of concessionary season tickets compared to the 2018/19 season, while also making no change to matchday admission prices for this important section of the Bulls’ fanbase."
