HEREFORD Head Coach Marc Richards hopes his side can put on a show when they host promotion chasing Stockport County this Saturday.

The Hatters and around 700 supporters head to Edgar Street sitting just two points behind leaders Chorley with a game in hand.

Richards is hoping his side can improve on the performance which saw them run out 2-0 winners over Spennymoor Town last weekend.

"It should be a good one and I can't wait, I'm so excited," said Richards.

"Stockport at home on a Saturday on the back of this away win the boys should be full of confidence. I hope we play some better football at home as there wasn't much football played today apart from in the final third when we could get it down.

"It was a really difficult pitch today but Edgar Street is a little bit different. Hopefully we can combine that doggedness we showed in the second half today with some slick football and put on a bit of a show.

"They (Stockport) need to win every game to have a chance of automatic promotion or to chase Chorley down so it will be a really exciting game.

"We are going to be at our best to beat one of the top teams in the division."

Hereford FC and Stockport County fans are reminded that the fixture is an all-ticket.

Tickets are available online and in the Club Shop.

Online sales are available up until 11:59pm on Friday 5th April.

Tickets ordered online can be collected from the Club Shop between 10am and 6pm on Friday, and also from the Matchday Ticket Office on the day of the game from noon until 2.50pm.
