HEREFORD Scrumpy Boys FC have added the Herefordshire Walking Football League to their growing trophy cabinet.
A 1-1 draw with Leominster and a 1-0 win over Hereford Bulls on the final day of matches secured them the league title.
Goals from Mark Catlin and Stuart Morgan ensured that their side not only won the title but maintained their unbeaten record, conceding only one goal all season.
The monthly six-a-side competition for those aged over-50 saw a host of games played at Hereford Sixth Form Academy on one date a month in January, February and March.
Last season was the first time the competition was held and Leominster clinched the title by just one point ahead of Hereford Scrumpy Boys.
However, Leominster weren't so successful in this campaign finishing bottom of the four teams with two draws from six matches.
Hereford Bulls finished second after suffering just two defeats, both at the hands of Hereford Scrumpy Boys.
While Athletico Ross avoided the wooden spoon to finish third after beating Leominster 2-0 in the opening round of matches.
Hereford Scrumpy Boys are currently looking for new players.
Anybody interested should contact Mark Catlin on 07756 108501.
