  • ROLLING MATCH REPORT
  • Brackley, on the back of a good run of form, started well and James Armson had the opening chance of the game when a free-kick beat everybody and found him at the back post.
  • However, the midfielder took a terrible touch and wasted the chance.
  • At the other end a looped corner had goalkeeper Danny Lewis in trouble as he dropped the initial cross, but a foul was given.
  • Brackley had the lead after 19 minutes after the Bulls back off allowing Carl Baker to fire his shot from outside the box into the top corner.
  • The Bulls looked to respond immediately and Danny Greenslade looped his free-kick just over the bar.
  • Ndlovu was causing the Bulls a host of problems and almost doubled the visitors' lead but sent his effort just over the bar from a Shepherd Murombedzi cross.
  • Brackley had a golden chance to double their lead after the break as a quick break resulted in James Armson beating the goalkeeper before Matt Lowe tripped on the ball with the goal at his mercy and Greenslade cleared.
  • Ndlovu was next to threaten the Bulls' goal after beating Jordan Cullinane-Liburd but saw his cross cleared off the line by substitute Louis Ezwele.
  • Matt Yates was next to keep the Bulls in the tie with a close range save to deny James Armson.
  • The introduction of James Waite helped to change momentum of the tie and Lance Smith looked to cross into the path of Tom Owen-Evans,
  • However, the midfielder was denied by a last ditch block.
  • Just as Hereford looked for a route back into the tie they were hit by a sucker punch on 74 minutes as Ellis Myles' cross was put into his own net by Jak Hickman while under pressure.
  • Brackley probed for further goals and Shane Byrne sent a free-kick inches wide before Ndlovu saw an effort sail just over.
