LOANEE striker James Waite is missing today’s match against Guiseley after picking up a ‘niggling knee injury’

The 19-year-old has missed the last three matches due to a suspension after receiving a red card against Leamington.

He was due to return for today’s match against Guiseley.

However, the striker had to withdraw from a Welsh under-21s training camp this week as a precaution after picking up the injury.

“Despite have to drop out through injury, I think congratulation is in order for James on that call-up,” said Marc Richards in the Guiseley match day programme.

“He’s got a great deal of ability and potential and I’m sure he will be involved on plenty more occasions at international level.”
