- Hereford moved 12 points clear of the bottom three after a bundled home Josh Gowling effort gave them all the points against a stubborn Guiseley side.
- A slow opening 16 minutes saw few chances before on his debut Jak Hickman beat his man out wide before crossing to Eliot Richards who saw his effort saved.
- Hickman was making his mark as a wing back and his cross floated onto the head of Kyle Finn only for the midfielder to be denied by a last ditch block.
- Finn was trying to force the matter himself again on the 35th minute after cutting inside and sending his shot at the goalkeeper.
- Lewis Archer had the best chance of the half as a he met a corner but headed over.
- The second half started equally as poorly with Tom Owen-Evans sending a hopeful volley well over.
- It took until the 58th minute for Hereford to force goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst into a save after Lance Smith's cross found Mike Symons, but he was denied at close range.
