A JAMAICAN born cricketer who played 40 Test matches for England will host a talk in Hereford on Thursday.

On his day Devon Malcolm was known as one of the fastest bowlers in world cricket taking 128 wickets in his 40 Test matches and scoring 236 runs.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Malcolm settled in England before going on to play county cricket for Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

He will be speaking at Hereford Rowing Club during the Hereford Cricket Society’s event.

The cost is £5 for non-members.
