HEREFORD Couriers came away with their desired results at the Speedway 10-kilometre race recently.

A group of six members travelled to Chepstow for the event, with the all of them coming away with personal best times on the popular two-loop flat course.

The conditions that met them were great for racing and ideal for recording quick times.

Andy Tyler was the first Hereford vest to cross the finishing line in his first road 10k storming around in a time of 36 minutes and 54 seconds.

Ryan Knight had another solid run and built on this recent Telford 10k personal best by bringing his best time down to 37:37.

Chris Cleary and Ben Skinner have built on recent New Years Day 10k performances with Chris getting the better of Ben in the final part of the race to finish in 37:58, with Ben in 38:07.

Jake Underhill knocked a minute off his previous best to finish in a time of 38:37 as preparation for his London Marathon quest in April continues.

Izzie Seal was the club's only female competitor and she put in a new best time of 46:39, a great reward for a few solid weeks of training.
