LADS Club manager Danny Moon hopes that his side can learn to win in muddy conditions after a second consecutive draw.

Last weekend his side welcomed Bilston Town Community to the County Ground.

Ashley Lear fired put his side ahead at half-time, but as conditions deteriorated the visitors came back resulting in Jamie Cuthbertson scored an own goal to hand them point.

"The weather ruined it as the pitch was heavy and made it hard work for beating teams, but a point is a point," said Moon.

"We are definitely moving forwards as a team as we would have lost that game last year. "They were not a bad side and we had chances to win the tie at the end. We have got to find a way of winning on heavy pitches."

Moon led by example last weekend as he substituted himself onto the pitch before scoring the equaliser against Dudley Sports during a 2-2 draw.

With three of their next four league fixtures at the County Ground, Moon hopes his side can build a run to secure a top six place finish.

He added: "If we got into a top six finish that would be a really good season.

"Ten teams in this league are now paying out £500 or more a week to players so we're not doing too badly I guess.

"I don't know how they work the fixtures out but our pitch never gets time to recover.

"We have come a long way since the start of the season and the team we have put together can only get stronger.

"We have applied to the FA to move sideways next season as part of their regrouping."
