HEREFORD City Harriers kept alive their slim title hopes alive when they thumped Dorstone in the Sunday League.

The home side scored nine times to keep up the pressure on The Lion at the top of the table.

George Worswick and Craig Forsyth both scored two while Denver James, Anthony Rivett, Damian Tolley, Josh Mecke and Ian Morris also got on the score sheet in the 9-2 win.

The Lion's forwards were also on good form when they scored seven in a resounding victory over Whitecross.

David Davies hit a hat-trick while Ryan Botwood, Lewis Phillips, Mark Rusling and Daniel Ramshaw-Evans also found the target.

The results mean the Leominster side maintain an eight-point advantage over Harriers before the two sides face each other next weekend.
