BUDDING stars from across the county were recognised for their achievements at the Herefordshire Junior County Cricket’s Annual Awards last week.
Guests of honour was Worcestershire CCC captain Joe Leach and Mayor of Hereford Sue Boulter, who presented trophies.
There was double success for Tom Skerett and Harry Sockett who received Best Batter awards for the under-14 and under-13 teams respectively.
Josh Williams was also a double winner taking the Best Batter for the under-15’s and Best Fielder for the under-17’s.
Hugo Bernard-Pullen was recognised for his six for 66 against Leicestershire.
Amelia Scott won the Girls under-13 Batter award with a top score of 81 while Fergus Morris won the Best Bowler award for the under-12’s for his 16 wickets in the season. Herefordshire Cricketer Barney Morgan was presented with the Ed Price Shield for his outstanding performances in the Herefordshire County Cricket Club first team.

Girls U11: Batting- Rhiannon Powell, Bowling - Georgina Williams, Fielding award- Medi Bubb, Coaches Player- Ava Creese
Boys U12: Batting- Ollie Langford, Bowling- Fergus Morris, Fielding- Will Jenkins, Coaches player- George Skerrett.
Boys U13: Batting- Harry Sockett, Bowling- Sam Wilde, Fielding- Will Morris, Coaches Player- Luke Powell
