  • Despite the Bulls starting well it was Darlington who had the first chance with Jordan Nicholson forcing Matt Yates into a routine save.
  • Darlington were almost handed an opener again on 11 minutes when Mike McGrath conceded the ball on the edge of the box and the Hereford defence looked unjointed, but Jordan Liburd was able to clear.

  • The leveler came eight minutes from time when after a long spell of pressure the defence was breached with Jordan Nicholson firing into the bottom corner.
  • The hosts should have sealed the points with two minutes remaining as Thompson found Simon Ainge in front of goal, but he headed wide.
