Hereford Football Club has begun an investigation into the ugly scenes which followed last night's match.
A group of supporters clashed with Bulls players after Hereford lost 3-0 against Southport at Edgar Street.
Various allegations have been made on social media and the club is now appealing for witnesses to come forward following, what it describes as, an "altercation" at the front of the Meadow End.
"The incident occurred behind the goal at the front of the Meadow End immediately after the full-time whistle, whilst the players were on the pitch applauding the fans," the club said in a statement today.
"If anyone has any information please email gm@herefordfc.co.uk.
"All information received will be treated in the strictest confidence."
