WESTFIELDS will host Leicester Nirvana in the third round of the FA Vase after beating Romulus 3-2 on Saturday.

Andy Bevan's side will play the United Counties League Premier Division side on December 1 with the winner receiving £1,125 and a place in the last 32 of the competition.

Last Saturday, Allpay Park was treated to an exciting end-to-end second round tie against Romulus.

Jamie Molyneux fired the hosts into a sixth minute lead when he blasted home from the edge of the box.

Mark Magee and Molyneux both squandered further chances to double their lead during a comfortable first half for the hosts.

And then on the stroke of half-time the visitor's were awarded a penalty after Sam Gwynne fouled Ben Ashby.

Ashby got up to take the kick but was denied by goalkeeper Ian Havard.

Fields doubled their lead three minutes into the second half when Craig Jones was put through by Molyneux and slid home.

However, the visitors came storming back and in the 50th minute Ben Ashby looped a shot over Havard.

Five minutes later Romulus were level after hesitancy in the host's defence allowed Jaden Cotterill to fire home.

Both sides pushed for a winner and Jones saw an effort cannon off the Romulus crossbar before sending a shot narrowly wide.

Keanu Cooper found the winner in the 80th minute after going through on goal and netting.

Lads Club saw their FA Vase dream run halted as Hinckley AFC ran out 3-1 winners.

Danny Moon's side started brightly and Adam Hockey fed through James Hancock's, who was denied by the goalkeeper.

However, the hosts scored two goals in nine second half minutes through Jordan Wilson and Sam Belcher to give themselves a commanding lead.

Lads Club responded immediately and Hockey rounded the goalkeeper before pulling back to Brad Williams to pull a goal back on 62 minutes.

Williams and Sam Gwynne put chances wide for the Herefordshire visitors as they pushed for an equaliser.

However, the hosts sealed the victory in stoppage time when Bell converted a late penalty.
