JUNIOR tennis players went head-to-head for honours as Hereford Squash, Tennis and Racketball Club held their club championships recently.

There were 20 entries across four sections and a high standard of play was shown by club members who had been coached by Tennis Hereford’s team, led by Andrew Griffiths.

In the Junior Girls Primary Division current and form County Champions Evie McDougall and Kiah Probert battled out a close three-set final.

McDougall was the County Champion for Hereford and Worcester in her age group in 2017 and Probert won the same title this year.

In a close final it was McDougall who eventually prevailed
