AN EVENING with Geoff Cope will be held by Herefordshire Cricket Society next week.
Cope played first-class cricket for Yorkshire from 1966 to 1980 initially during the era of Brian Close and Ray Illingworth.
He took 686 wickets at an average of 25 and also appeared in three Test matches for England.
The event will be held at Hereford Rowing Club on Thursday, October 18, between 7pm and 10pm priced at £5 for non-members.
