- Hereford fell to a sixth defeat in seven games as Chester took a comfortable 3-0 win while Mike McGrath was shown a red card.
- In form Chester looked to make an early mark and the confidence of Dan Moon was clear as he drove his shot towards the bottom corner.
- However, it was Marlon Jackson who had a glorious chance to open the scoring after a long Danny Greenslade throw was flicked on to the striker unmarked, but he blazed over.
