INTERIM player/manager Ryan Green said there were no positives to take from their 3-0 defeat at home against Spennymoor Town.

The Bulls failed to challenge their visitors who coasted to a comfortable victory

“It was a bad day at the office to go 1-0 down due to an individual error and to go down to 10-men just killed us off to be honest,” said Green.

“There are no excuses. We go 1-0 down and we crumble and it has happened again today obviously the red card doesn’t help but it has been a bad day today.

“He has got the ball but shown his studs so in this day and age you can’t do it. Four or five years ago everybody would have applauded that but nowadays you can’t get away with it.

“I don’t think they (Spennymoor) broke sweat to be honest. They were very organised, good on the counter-attack and fully deserved winners.

“Positive, no none at all if I am being totally honest no positives whatsoever we have just got to move on now and rally the troops on Tuesday and keep going.

“We haven’t got to wait a week for a game so a win Tuesday and it won’t be a bad week then with three points from two games.”
