  • With the first chance of the game Spennymoor took the lead on 21 minutes when a long ball was headed down by Glen Taylor to Mark Anderson who fired low past Martin Horsell.
  • The host's task was made harder three minutes later when Callum Sainty went in late on Shaun Tuton and referee Amy Fearne showed a straight red card.
  • With their second shot of the game the visitor's doubled their lead with Glen Taylor latching onto a long ball and playing a neat one-two before firing home.
  • The visitors were once again clinical on the break but were denied by Martin Horsell after an hour played.
  • A through ball saw Mark Anderson into the box only to be denied by a last gasp Jordan Cullinane-Liburd tackle but the rebound fell nicely to Andrew Johnson.
  • However, his effort was tipped wide by Horsell.
