WORCESTER-born racer Dan Rowbottom scored a second win of the Renault UK Clio Cup season at Rockingham.
The Cataclean-backed Kidderminster ace qualified sixth and then won the opener by just over half-a-second.
He brought himself back into contention for the championship but the second race ended in a bump on a wet track and a drop back to 15th.
Rowbottom added: "Worse is that I am very sore and have had X-rays on my ribs to see if there is any damage and the car needs reshelling before the next races.”
They head to Silverstone next on September 15 and 16.
