VICTORY from the last ball saw Bromyard revive their top two hopes with an exhilarating victory over Belbroughton.

All-rounder Zahid Saeed was once again the star man for the Flaggoners Green side hitting an unbeaten 92 runs.

Opener Nick Leighton joined Saeed early proceedings and the pair built up a partnership of 176 as Bromyard looked on course to comfortably reach their target of 227.

However, wickets started tumbling around Saeed with his side eventually losing seven wickets before reaching their total with 49.5 overs played.

Earlier in the day three wickets each for Edward Reece and Will Yarnold helped reduce Belbroughton to 227-9.

Wormelow fell to the basement of Division Two after losing to relegation rivals Kempsey by three wickets.

The Herefordshire visitors elected to bat and set a good target with openers Luke Jones (37) and Joe Snow (45) setting the tone before Ben Gunn top scored on 67 on their way to 246-6.

However, in reply Kempsey skipper Chris Jones hit an unbeaten century as they reached 249-7 off 47 overs.

Bartestree & Lugwardine struggled with the bat as they suffered an agonising 24-run defeat at the hands of table toppers Coombs Wood.

Bowlers Matthew Tulacz (3-16) and Ryan Trattell (4-45) had the hosts on the back-foot as they were bowled out 171.

However, the Bartestree batsman struggled to keep their wickets with Rauri Wargent top scoring on 32 and his side were skittled out for 147.

Eastnor also struggled with the bat as second placed Division Three side Netherton took a comfortable five-wicket victory.

After electing to bat a short innings followed in which tail-ender Mohammed Asim Ibrar top scored on 20 resulting in the hosts being bowled out for 94.

Despite David Higson taking three wickets for 25 runs the visitors comfortably reached their target finishing on 97-5.
