DANNY Gagg was crowned Hereford Snooker League Open Singles champion after running out 3-1 winner against Paul Perkins in the final.

The end of the season was marked with the match competed over the best of five frames followed by presentation of prizes to all competition winners and runners up.

Gagg and Perkins had knocked out several of the previous winners on route to the final thanks to some excellent potting from both players.

However, it seemed that both were suffering a little from big match nerves, neither having reached this final before, and both making uncharacteristic mistakes.

In the end, it was Gagg who ran out the winner by three frames to one.

Miller Boys had another successful season winning the Division 1 title by a mere two points from Police A who had led until the final two matches of the season.

They also won the Champion of Champions competition, also beating the Police team on the black in the final frame.

Division 2 winners were Pot Idols and second place went to Corner Pockets. Both teams now earn promotion to Division 1.

The winners of the Hereford Times Challenge cup (Team Knockout) were Nowheremen.

The highest Division 1 Break trophy went to Jedd Mann (Military Potters) with a superb 116. In Division 2 Jack Debbage (Farmers B) won that trophy with a 31 Break.

Perkins had a successful season, winning the Handicap Singles final and also coming runner up in the Division 1 Singles final and the Open Singles final.
