THE Beast from the East saw all sporting fixtures cancelled across Herefordshire last weekend.
Widespread snow and sub-zero conditions meant that there was no option but to abandon the fixture list.
The conditions also provided problems into this week with Wednesday night's West Midlands Premier Division tie between Wellington and Lads Club being postponed due to health and safety reasons.
Wellington Press Officer Mike Fischer said: "The thawing out process has resulted in eight separate locations of the water system in the changing rooms being repaired today due to burst pipes.
"We have removed the light fittings to let out the water but they need to dry out. We also have standing water above the ceiling in the changing rooms so there is imminent risk of collapse
"On this basis we have concluded that we will not be in a position to carry out the necessary repairs and safety checks by Wednesday night and so reluctantly we will have to call the match off.
"Something else to deal with but we are lucky that we have good people around us to help."
