HEREFORD FC will look to increase their gap at the top of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier at basement side Gosport Borough on Tuesday night.

Pete Beadle’s side go into the tie on the back of a six-match winning run which has allowed them to go seven points clear at the top of the league.

Beadle is due to have a host of forward options to choose from including leading top scorer John Mills on 25 league goals this campaign and new signing Jennison Myrie-Williams.

The Bulls travel to Hampshire having not played a competitive match since their win against Weymouth last Saturday due to frozen pitches leading to two matches being postponed.

In contrast Boro are without a win in 14 games- a run which goes back to December 6 when they beat Farnborough 2-1 away.

Gosport sit cut adrift at the bottom of the league having only won two games all season and conceded 110 goals- the second most in the league.

However, with only one team relegated Alex Pike’s side sit only four points behind Barnstaple with two games in hand.

Boro’s top goal scorer comes in the form of striker Craig McAllister who has netted four times since joining in January.
