PABLO Haysham says he is ready to fight for his place in the Hereford FC line-up.

The playmaker is one of only four players who was with the Bulls when they formed back in 2015, although loanee Adam Page was also part of the set up.

However, Haysham has found himself sitting on the bench recently or not even in the squad.

"Credit to us four for staying here," said Haysham.

"But the club evolves and people come in and it's tough to keep your place here.

"There's great players here.

"[Garyn] Preen has been doing a great job as well as Keyon [Reffell] and the boys up front.

"With good players you're not going to be playing every week, you've just got to be patient and work hard and hopefully I'll get a chance to get my place.

"I back myself to get back in it at some point and I will keep working hard and still be behind the boys."

Haysham has at times had to play on the left hand side of midfield and not in his preferred position up front.

However, the former Didcot Town man says he just wants to play football and doesn't mind where he players.

"Obviously I do like playing upfront, I feel that's my position, but there's great strikers here.

"I'm happy to fit in wherever I can and do well for the team."
